Diamond Harbour High School was established in 1888 in pre-independent India. Since then it has been considered as one of the most renowned seats of learning in Bengal. The school is situated on the eastern bank of river Hoogly at Diamond Harbour, South 24 Parganas
The school is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
This school has a proud privilege of producing galaxy of brilliant students whe adorn many prestigious positions home and abroad.
At present the school is nurturing around 1500 budding minds. About 50 teaching and non-teaching staff is endeavouring tirelesoly to help them flourish.
